Iwasaki Bros,. Inc
B.Y. “Billy” Iwasaki started a small dairy farm in Hillsboro, Oregon.
The family stopped dairy and switched to row crops like asparagus, strawberries, corn, broccoli, and more.
Billy and his sons George, Ike, and Art began growing vegetable starts in a small 1,250 sq ft greenhouse in the spring.
Over time, this expanded to a massive year-round greenhouse operation, now covering over 629,000 sq ft!
The family began making and selling hand-tied Christmas wreaths and greenery.
They sold to fundraisers, flower markets, and retailers all across the country—from Florida to Hawaii.
Jim Iwasaki, Billy’s grandson, takes over the business.
He brings in his daughters Theresa and Julie—marking the 4th generation of the Iwasaki family in the business.
Iwasaki Bros. is a thriving, family-run wholesale greenhouse business.
They grow and sell bedding plants, hanging baskets, planters, and seasonal greenery nationwide.
